The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) and The Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Orchestra will feature the Nigerian cellist Nwuko Sunday Kelechi and clarinettist Cameron Williams as soloists during a free lunch time concert on Tuesday June 4 at the Artscape Opera House Chandelier Foyer.
You can bring your lunch at 1pm and grab a seat while the musicians entertain you.
The CPO’s resident conductor, Brandon Phillips, conducts the combined orchestra.
Kelechi will perform Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody for Cello, and Stellenbosch clarinettist, Williams, will perform the First Rhapsody for Clarinet by Debussy.
Both soloists are accomplished musicians in the CPYO, and are also well known for their chamber music and solo appearances.
There are limited seats so you need to get there early.
