MISS BALA (Friday May 3)

Gloria Fuentes is a Latin-American makeup artist from Los Angeles who goes on a trip to visit her best friend in Tijuana, Mexico. When the pair go to a local night club, her friend wants to impress to help her chances in a beauty competition she has entered. However, when Gloria goes to the bathroom, armed gunmen break in through the vents and attempt to kidnap her out of her stall for reasons that will become clearer later.

UGLYDOLLS (Friday May 3)

Moxy (Kelly Clarkson) and her UglyDoll friends travel to the other side of the mountain where Uglyville nestles and finds the town of Perfection, a place where everyone is perfect. There they encounter Lou (Nick Jonas), who gathers recruits to train for perfection and ultimately find a child in the real world. Eventually, the UglyDolls learn that being oneself is more important than perfection when Moxy meets lonely perfect doll Mandy (Janelle Monae).

THE OTHER SIDE (Friday May 3)

When Gem (Erica Hubbard) decided to invite her long-lost friend to be the Maid of Honor in her wedding, Allen (Brad James), her fiancé, had no clue he’d be meeting Kiya (Altovise Lawrence), a wildly outspoken lesbian novelist. Though an aspiring writer himself, Allen finds not a friend in his new house-guest, but a rival for Gem’s attention. Eventually, the soon-to-be husband discovers there’s a lot more to the story than his fiancée explained.

Aiding in the investigation is Harry’s former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu: a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth who is a puzzlement even to himself. Finding that they are uniquely equipped to communicate with one another, Tim and Pikachu join forces on a thrilling adventure to unravel the tangled mystery.

THE STOLEN PRINCESS (Friday May 17)

This wonderful story happened in the age of valiant knights, beautiful princesses, and battling sorcerers. Ruslan, a wandering artist dreaming to become a knight, met beautiful Mila and fell in love with her; he didn’t even suspect that she is the King’s daughter. However, the lovers’ happiness wasn’t meant to last too long. Chernomor, the evil sorcerer, appeared in a magic vortex and stole Mila right before Ruslan’s eyes to transform her power of love into his own magic power. Without further ado, Ruslan sets out on a chase after the stolen princess to overcome all obstacles and to prove that real love is stronger than magic.

RED JOAN (Friday May 24)

English born Joan Stanley (Judi Dench), a Soviet and communist party sympathizer, becomes employed as a British government civil servant and gets recruited by the KGB in the mid-1930s. She successfully transfers nuclear bomb secrets to the Soviet Union (Russia), which enables them to keep up with the west in the development of atomic weapons, and remains undetected as a spy for over a half a century.
