Cape Town Pride has announced the official dates of its 16th annual Pride Festival happening from Friday February 22 to Sunday March 3.
Pride Week 2019 will see the return of long-standing hallmarks of Pride, including the Mardi Gras, Pride Parade, Mr and Miss Cape Town Pride, Pride Bookcase, Poetry, Vodacom Rainbow Pride Fun Run, Lifestyle Conference and DIVA’s.
In addition, there will be a full slate of cultural and affiliate events, workshops, community, memorial and festival events, and more.
The Mardi Gras will be held on Reddam Field at Green Point Urban Park from 12pm to 8:30pm.
The headliners for Cape Town Pride 2019 will be Jimmy Nevis, Zoé Zana, Ceri du Preez, the Trolley Dollies and will be hosted by Soli Philander and Chantel Venter.
